Jinchuan Group to Operate 400 000 T/A Caustic Soda Phase I    

Recently, Jinchuan Group Ltd. has completed construction of the first phase of its 400 000 t/a ion-membrane caustic soda project in Jinchang of Gansu province.
   The first phase project, with an investment of RMB301 million, will be able to produce 200 000 tons of caustic soda, 42 900 tons of liquid chlorine, 30 000 tons of high-purity hydrochloric acid and 30 000 tons of industrial-grade hydrochloric acid after full operation.
   Jinchuan Group is one of the largest producers of nickel, cobalt and platinum group metals in China. It also produces inorganic chemical products such as sulfuric acid, chlorine soda etc.
