Several Key Chemical Projects Launched in Inner Mongolia      

On September 8th, 2009 Inner Mongolia Chinasalt Dyestuff Co., Ltd. commenced construction of its 20 000 t/a sulfur dyes and 30 000 t/a sodium thiosulfate (sodium carbonate) projects in Zhongquanzi of Inner Mongolia. Meanwhile in the same industry park, Chinasalt Yabulan Chemical Co., Ltd. (Yabulan Chemical) also laid a foundation for construction of its 100 000 t/a anhydrous sodium sulfate, 30 000 t/a refined sodium sulfide projects and matching environmental protection projects for recovering sodium sulfide. These projects have initial investment of RMB200 million and will be put into operation in succession before July 2010.
   Yabula Chemical's sodium sulfide recovery project will be put into operation in late October 2009, and will daily recycle five tons of sodium sulfide with no discharge of wastewater.
    Many other projects have also been put on the schedule, including a heat-electricity cogeneration project and a 50 000 t/a chlorobenzene project. After the competition of all these projects, it is estimated to realize a sale revenue of RMB1.5 billion per year.  
   Yabula Chemical was established in Alashan Right Banner of Inner Mongolia in 1957. The company has a capacity of 50 000 t/a sodium sulfide, 40 000 t/a anhydrous sodium sulfate and 40 000 t/a industrial-grade salts at present.
