Jinyang Kaolin Kicks off 300 000 T/A Kaolin Project Phase II     

On August 20th, 2009 Shanxi Jinyang Calcined Kaolin Co., Ltd. (Jinyang Kaolin) launched its 100 000 t/a second phase of the 300 000 t/a coal-series kaolin project in Xinzhou city of Shanxi province.
    Coal-series kaolin is an important chemical material. High quality kaolin and its deep processing products can be widely used in more than 60 industrial fields such as papermaking, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and so on. Most of the high quality kaolin used in China is imported from abroad, according to the company.
   The 300 000 t/a project has a total investment of RMB300 million, and construction on the first phase of the project with a capacity of 100 000 t/a has already been completed, which helps the company's current coal-series kaolin production capacity reaching 150 000 t/a.
