LANXESS Completes Acquisition of Polyols in China   

LANXESS has successfully completed the acquisition of the chemical businesses and production assets belonging to China's Jiangsu Polyols Chemical Co. Ltd. The transaction has received the necessary anti-trust approvals, and took legal and economic effect on September 1st, 2009.
   Subsequently, the new legal entity LANXESS (Liyang) Polyols Co, Ltd was founded. LANXESS AG has appointed Dr. Hans-Detlef Heinz as General Manager of the newly formed LANXESS (Liyang) Polyols, effective September 1, 2009. (CCR2009 No. 18)
