Lantai Industrial Conducts Trial Run of 50 000 T/A Sodium Chlorate Project     

Inner Mongolia Lantai Industrial Co., Ltd. (Lantai Industrial, SH: 600328) announced on August 18th that the company has conducted a successful wet commissioning of its 50 000 t/a sodium chlorate expansion project in Inner Mongolia, northern China. This project expands the company's existing capacity from 50 000 t/a sodium chlorate to 100 000 t/a. (CCR2008 No. 10)
   The expansion project was launched on April 16th, 2008 with imported advanced technological package for sodium chlorate production from Canada.
   Besides, Lantai Industrial and Jiangxi Salt Industry Group Corporation also launched a 51:49 joint venture of 100 000 t/a sodium chlorate project in Jiangxi province in December 2007. The first phase 50 000 t/a sodium chlorate project will start up at the end of 2009, expanding Lantai Industrial's sodium chlorate capacity to 150 000 t/a at that time.
