ET Solar Group Supplies Solar Modules to Asian and European Markets

On August 20th, ET Solar Group Corp., a Nanjing-based integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) products (ingot, wafer, modules and tracking systems) and system integrator announced a 1 MW high efficiency module supply transaction to a large system integrator for an Indian project.
The project, developed by a commercial and utility solar project developer in India, is so far one of the largest on-grid solar farms in the Indian subcontinent. Shipment was completed in July and more sizeable volumes are being planned for.
According to Indian government's 11th five-year plan, the nation is targeting at a 20% of electricity generation from renewable energies by 2020 where at least 10 GW will be achieved through solar power generation, including PV and solar thermal sources. Punjab is the first state in India that was allocated with megawatt scale projects.
In addition, ET Solar Announces 4.2 MW high efficiency module supplies to three large Italian commercial projects. Consisting of both ground mounted and rooftop installations, the three projects are, by project timeline, in Prato (1.3 MW), Perugia (1.0 MW) and Imola (1.9 MW) and are all for commercial uses. The first two projects have already started operation while grid connection for the third project will be completed in September. Two of the projects were financed by large European banks specialized in solar industry financing.
ET Solar also supplied a sizeable volume of high efficiency PV modules through its intensive distribution networks to Italian market so far this year.
