CRIA to Suggest Measure against ITC's Tire Tariff Proposal

China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) recently showed its plan to suggest the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOC) to take measures in response to the tire tariff proposal of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).
A team organized by CRIA has raised a plea against ITC's tariff proposal on China-made tire in early August. On August 17th an officials group headed by Zhong Shan, the vice minister of MOC reached the U.S. and started to negotiate with U.S. related departments on this case.
CRIA disclosed its suggestion to raise import tariff on some U.S.-made products if ITC's proposal is approved. Once the suggestion report is completed, CRIA will hand it officially to MOC.
