MST Opens up New Technology Policy   

China's Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) promulgated, on July 6th, a national industry policy in order to develop a batch of world state-of-the-art technologies and processes in a long term, along with a group of products and facilities with China's own intellectual property rights.  
   This policy supports individual enterprise to develop technology itself, promote domestic enterprises to practice sustainability strategy. Other financial and tax policies will be issued to help enterprises upgrade and renovate their existing production technologies.  
    MST will regularly issue directory for technologies that are forbad or controlled to import. The government will support the import of key machineries and technologies that are necessary. Multinationals are welcome to set up R&D center in China.
