Dina-2 Gas Field Came on Stream    

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) announced on July 6th the Dina-2 Gas Field of the Tarim Oilfield in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was put into operation.
   Located in the Kuche, Dina-2 Gas Field was discovered in 2001, with proven gas reserves of 175.2 billion cubic meters and gas condensate reserves of 13.38 million tons.
   Construction on the Dina-2 Gas Field was started in March 2008.
   Dina-2, together with Yaha, Kela-2 and Yingmaili gas fields in Tarim Oilfield, has boosted Tarim Oilfield's gas capacity to over 20 billion cubic meters a year, to ensue the stable supply to the first West-East Gas Pipeline. (CCR2008 No. 10)
