Hongda's Shareholding Company to Build Fertilizer Plant     

Sichuan Hongda Co., Ltd. (Hongda, SH: 600331) announced on May 19th its board has agreed its 94.21% shareholding Sichuan Mianzhu Chuanrun Chemical Co., Ltd. to build 200 000 t/a synthetic ammonia, 300 000 t/a urea and 300 000 t/a compound fertilizer facilities in Mianzhu, Sichuan province.
   The new facilities is estimated to cost RMB960 million.
   Sichuan Mianzhu Chuanrun Chemical is a calcium phosphate maker, located in Mianzhu. Hongda is a leading phosphorus chemical maker in China.
