Yanchang Petroleum Launches Fluoride Salt Projects     

Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Petroleum) laid a foundation for the construction of the first phase Fluorine-Silicon Chemical Industry Park in Shangluo, Shaanxi province on May 13th, 2009. The whole project has a total investment of RMB1.7 billion and is scheduled to be implemented in two phases.   
   The first phase with an investment of RMB840 million covers an area of 21.3 hectare and will launch a capacity of 15 000 t/a anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, 3 000 t/a fluoride salt, 10 000 t/a cryolite, 30 000 t/a aluminum fluoride, 200 000 t/a sulfuric acid and 27 000 t/a fluorite ore mineral-processing.
   The second phase will construct fluororubber, fluorine coatings and other fluorinated fine chemical products.
