Lomon Launches Phosphates Base      

Sichuan Lomon Corporation (Lomon), headquartered in Sichuan province, started to launch 500 000 t/a phosphates base in Nanzhang, Xiangfan of Hubei province on May 30th, 2009.
   The RMB1.5 billion project is scheduled to be implemented in two phases, and the first phase to be completed and come on stream in June 2010. After full operation of the whole project, it is expected to add sales revenue of RMB2.5 billion for Lomon.
   Lomon said the phosphates manufactured in this project mainly serve as feed additives, and the capacity scale of phosphates ranks top in Asia and third in the world.
   The company also released that the proven reserves of phosphate rock in Nanzhang is over 100 million tons and can provide sufficient raw material for this phosphates project.
