Jinyuan Chemical Starts up Synthetic Ammonia Project      

Shijiazhuang Jinshi Chemical Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (Jinshi Chemical) announced that its holding subsidiary Hebei Jinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. (Jinyuan Chemical) held a ceremony for the startup of its synthetic ammonia expansion project on May 16th, 2009.
    This RMB180 million project broke ground in April 2007, and after full operation, it will annually add a capacity of 100 000 tons of synthetic ammonia and production value of RMB320 million for Jinyuan Chemical.
   As soon as full operational, Jinyuan Chemical's total capacity of synthetic ammonia will reach 260 000 t/a.
   In addition, Jinshi Chemical also broke ground for relocating its 300 000 t/a synthetic ammonia project to Xinleyuan district on April 2nd, 2009. With an investment of RMB730 million, the relocated project is due for completion in June 2010.
   Jinshi Chemical is originally located in the central urban district of Shijiazhuang, Hebei province. The municipal government ordered that 48 enterprises must move away from the urban district of Shijiangzhuang befor 2010.
   Jinshi Chemical is a holding subsidiary of Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group.
