Hanfeng PSCU Project Came on Stream in Shandong      

On May 20th, 2009 the 100 000 t/a PSUC (polymeric material and sulfur-coated urea) project of Hanfeng Minghua Slow-Release Fertilizer (Shandong) Co., Ltd. (Hanfeng Minghua) was put into operation in Shandong province. Hanfeng Minghua is a joint venture co-invested by Shandong Mingshui Great Chemical Group and Hanfeng Evergreen Inc, a Canadian-headquartered company with operations in China and also the largest SCU (sulfur coated-urea) raw material supplier in China.
    The products will be sold not only in Shandong province, but also in main cash crop belt in eastern, central and southern China. In accordance with the market conditions, Hanfeng Minghua will also consider to build new production lines at any time.
    The production bases of Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. are distributed in places like Heilongjiang, Jiangsu provinces and Shanghai. The company claimed itself to be the only one enterprise having SCU production lines in China, and its core technology is licensed from Agrium Nu-Gro, a Canadian-headquartered company.
    Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. and Shandong Mingshui Great Chemical Group decided to jointly establish Hanfeng Minghua Slow-Release Fertilizer (Shandong) Co., Ltd. on September 1st, 2008. (CCR2008 No.23)
