Jiangsu Jialong Raises Fund to Finance Phosgene Expansion      

Jiangsu Jialong Chemical Co., Ltd. raised a fund of RMB33 million to finance production expansion of phosgene and its derivatives. One of the investors Jiangsu Venture Capital Co., Ltd. posted on April 2nd.
   The company plans to achieve production capacity of 20 000 t/a phosgene and 7 000 t/a derivatives in next two years.
   Jiangsu Jialong, the state-designated phosgene and its derivatives maker, has currently phosgene capacity of 6 000 t/a. The company has a leading position in the Chinese market with market shares of 42% for phosgene-based esters and ranks the second with market share of 37% for furanphenol. Jiangsu Jialong is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province.
