Xinlianxin Commercially Operates Urea Project     

On April 15th, Henan Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. (Xinlianxin) put its 240 000 t/a synthetic ammonia and 400 000 t/a urea project into operation. It was the first fund-raising project of Xinlianxin since the company was listed in Singapore in 2007.
   In July 2007 the Henan Development and Reform Commission approved the construction of the 400 000 t/a urea and 100 000 t/a methanol project which has an initial investment of more than RMB1.0 billion, and construction on this project was started in April 2008.
   After full operation of the 400 000 t/a urea project, Xinlianxin can annually produce a total of 1.2 million tons of urea.
   At present, construction on the 100 000 t/a methanol project has already been completed and it will be put into operation in the near future.
