1500 T/A Polysilicon Project Broke Ground     

Inner Mongolia Zhongsheng Sci-Tech New Material Co., Ltd. held a ceremony for breaking ground of a 1 500 t/a polysilicon project in Bayanzhuoer, Inner Mongolia.
   The company plans to invest RMB1.5 billion to construct the 1 500 t/a polysilicon project in two phases. The first phase with a capacity of 500 t/a polysilicon is expected to start up in November 2009. Construction on the second phase will be started in April 2010, with a capacity of 1 000 t/a polysilicon, which is scheduled to be completed in October 2010.
   Bayanzhuoer has rich silica resources, with a high grade.
