1 MLN T/A Refinery Came on Stream in Jilin     

Jilin Nong'an Xinda Oil Group Co., Ltd. (Xinda Oil) put a 1 million t/a refining facility into operation on April 8th.
   Xinda Oil, located Nong'an County, Jilin province, plans to expand the refining capacity to 5 million t/a in the next five years, targeting for the largest private holding company in northeastern China at that time.
   The refining facility is expected to process 600 000 tons of crude oil in 2009 and produce gasoline, diesel, naphtha, kerosene and liquefied petroleum gas to meet the needs in the northeastern China market.
   Construction on the refining facility was started in March 2007 and completed in May 2008.
