To comply with China's Environmental Protection Law and Environmental Impact Assessment Law, the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MOEP) has compiled a new standard - the Technical Guideline of Environmental Impact Assessment for Pesticide Construction Project and recently made it public for collecting advice before May 20th.
Led by MOEP, five organizations include Shanghai Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry have contributed to the new standard. The compiling team has ever learned the advanced principle and excellent experience of Bayer CropScience Hangzhou Co., Ltd. in production, management and pollution control, through spot investigation.
This standard is aimed at guiding and encouraging the domestic pesticide makers to develop safe, high potency, low persistent pesticide and to strengthen clean production.
