CNPC Dina 2 Gas Field to Start up     

CNPC reported recently construction on Dina 2 Gas Field, located in Kuche county in the Tarim Basin, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is running smoothly now. It is predicted to start up on June 30th, 2009.
   CNPC formally commenced construction of Dina 2 gas field on March 26th, 2008. (CCR2008 No.10) Upon its completion, the field will offer 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas a year and 560 thousand tons of condensate oil, as an additional gas supply to the West-East Gas Pipeline.
  Dina 2 has 175.218 billion cubic meters of cumulative proven natural gas reserves and 13.389 million tons of proven condensate oil reserves, which make it the second gas field with reserves Tarim, only next to Kela 2 field, the current main gas supplier for the West-East Gas pipeline.
