DSM to Build Feed Premix Plant in Changchun    

On March 17th, DSM Nutritional Products singed the investment contract with the Changchun Economic & Technology Development Zone to set up DSM's fourth feed premix plant in China and establish the DSM Vitamins (Changchun) Limited.  
   The new premix plant is to be located in Changchun Economic & Technology Zone, Changchun, capital of Jilin province in northeastern China. The construction of the plant will start in May 2009 and the total investment will amount to US$5 million. The plant will be the fourth feed premix plant of DSM Nutritional Products after its investment in three existing plants in Shanghai, Liaocheng of Shandong province and Hengyang of Hunan province.
   With the intention to be operational by end of 2009 at 25000 t/a shift capacity, this plant is to provide feed premix to the farmers and feed manufacturers in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang provinces and Inner Mongolia region.  
   DSM says it will continue to accelerate the development of the animal nutrition & health industry in China.
