DFD Launched Four Inorganic Fluoride Projects

On March 20th, 2009 Do-Fluoride Chemicals Co., Ltd. (DFD) announced that the company has laid a foundation to launch construction of lithium hexafluorophosphate, sodium fluoaluminate, high performance inorganic fluorides projects and a Fluorine Chemical Technology Research Center.
Zhao Yongfeng, manager of DFD, said the lithium hexafluorophosphate project has a leading capacity in China and will produce high performance lithium hexafluorophosphate after operation. There is only one existing lithium hexafluorophosphate manufacturing enterprise in China, DFD will be the second, disclosed Zhao. But he refused to give further details how large DFD's capacity will be and when the project will come on stream.
Lithium hexafluorophosphate is widely used in mobile phone, notebook PC and electric vehicle fields as an important raw material of lithium battery.
DFD was established in 1999, its business includes the research, production and sales of high performance fluoride products. The company has a capacity of 60 000 t/a of synthetic cryolite, 90 000 t/a of aluminum fluoride, 10 000 t/a of silica white and other refine fluorides.
