Changshu Saililong Suffered Explosion     

Explosions happened on January 12th a at workshop of Changshu Saililong New Energy Materials Technology Company, a private plastic processing factory located in Changshu, Jiangsu province, caused two deaths and five injuries, according to the Changshu government. Several followed explosions resulted in big fire, which was controlled in five hours by more than 150 firemen. The managers of the company have been controlled by police.
   The company engages in the production of polyethylene preparations, built in 2005 with a registering capital of RMB12 million. It was reported that several tons of thiethylamine and methyl carbonate was stored in that workshop before the casualty.
    The environmental administration of Changshu reported the casualty has not caused pollution to the local water and air. The Changshu government reported on January 13th that the company's illegal operation on the chemical polymerization reaction with high risk caused the explosions.
