Yihua Chemical Starts up Synthetic Ammonia and Urea Projects      

Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (Yihua Chemical, SZ: 000422) announced on December 25th, 2008 that the 600 000 t/a synthetic ammonia and 1.04 million t/a urea projects established by Inner Mongolia Erdos UniChem International Co., Ltd. - a 35% equity holding subsidiary, have started up, which brings Yihua Chemical's  total urea capacity to 2.5 million t/a.
    By the way, Guizhou Jinjiang Chemical Co., Ltd., another subsidiary of Yihua Chemical, recently commissioned a 30 000 t/a pentaerythritol project. Upon full operation, the total capacity of pentaerythritol in Yihua Chemical will reach 100 000 t/a, which will bring Yihua Group's total capacity to 140 000 t/a.
