Wengfu Group Prepares for Sulfur Phosphorus Chemicals Plant    

Wengfu Group, a leading phosphorus chemicals maker in China, plans to build a sulfur phosphorus based chemicals plant in Dazhou Natural Gas Energy Chemical Zone in Sichuan province, western China.
   Wengfu Group plans to start construction on the proposed plant this December, at a cost of approximately RMB3.15 billion. The plant is planned to annually mine 1.2 million tons of phosphate rock, manufacture 800 thousand tons of sulfuric acid per year, 300 thousand tons of phosphoric acid per year and 480 thousand tons of ammonium phosphate, which is scheduled for completion in 2011.
   Wengfu Group, headquartered in Guiyang of Guizhou province, is involved in phosphorus mining and beneficiation, and in the R & D and the production of phosphate compound fertilizer, phosphorus chemicals, and iodine and fluorine chemicals.
