China Starts Dumping Investigation on PA 6,6 Chips     

On November 14th, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced a dumping investigation on polyamide (PA) 6,6 chip (HS code: 39081011 ) originated from the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, France and Taiwan province.
   The move is effective November 14th, 2008. The period of dumping investigation is from April 1st, 2007 to March 31st, 2008 while the injury investigation ranges from January 1st, 2005 to June 30th, 2008.
   Generally, the probe should be finished before November 14th, 2009, but it can be extended to May 14th, 2010 if necessary.
   On September 25th, 2008 MOC formally received an application report, which is submitted by Pingdingshan Shenma Engineering Plastic Company Ltd. representing the domestic PA sector, for the dumping probe on PA 6,6 chip from the USA, Italy, UK, France and Taiwan province.
