Accidents in November    

An explosion happened at the piperazine recovery workshop of Xinhua Pharmaceuticals Company in Taizhou Coastal Pharmaceutical Chemical Park of Zhejiang province. A worker who was operating a centrifuge was dead. Luckily the stored toluene and ethanol nearby the exploded reactor escaped from explosion thanks to the on-time rescuing.
    Sihai Chemical Factory in Xiangyang of Hubei province came across an explosion on November 4th. No death was reported. Explosion happened at methyl chlorosilane the factory stored without any covers. This is the second similar accident this year for the factory.
    Two workers were dead in an explosion happened in the methanol workshop of Fujian Sanming YongAn Zhisheng Chemical Fertilizers Company on November 7th. One worker was heavily wounded. The company is the largest chemical enterprise of Sanming, Fujian province. It has a workforce of around 1 300. The company immediately shut down the workshop. The safety work administration started to check the cause.
    Meitai Chemical Factory suffered an explosion on its officially opening day - November 13th. The factory sites in Wanzai County of Jiangxi province, eastern China. It just came on stream to produce raw materials for fireworks. No wound and death was caused. It is luck that a plenty of barium nitrate and potassium permanganate stored in the workshop have not been ignited by the fire.
