China's Sustainable Energy Plan      

China announced the first ever White Paper on Energy Conditions and Policies on December 26th, 2007. To promote sustainable economic and social advancement, China has set the strategy and target for energy to pursue energy saving, ensure energy supply, step up energy technology innovation and promote energy sustainable development as well strengthen the international cooperation.
   China is pursuing energy law work, related to petroleum and natural gas law, crude oil market system and atomic energy law.
   China continues to encourage foreign investment in exploration and development of unconventional energy resources, and also encourage foreign investors to invest in and operate energy facilities such as power plants.
