Anhui Implements "Restriction on Approval of New Project" to Two Regions    

After the lifting of "restriction on approval" on Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chaohu City and Bengbu City through rectification, Anhui Provincial Environmental Protection Administration shut down or banned 16 storage battery enterprises and small paper mills in Wuhu County and Nanling County from November 28th, 2007, and also implemented "restriction on approval" to these two counties.
