Two Accidents Involved in Chlorine
An explosion happened on October 29th at a sodium chlorate tank in a workshop of Chlor-Alkali Resin Company under Shandong Haihua Group. When the accident took place, workers were repairing the tank. No death was reported. 58 people affected by the leaked gas were sent to hospitals for curing. The factory locates in Shouguang, Shandong province of eastern China.
    Unfortunately, another explosion took place on October 31st caused one death. 41 works were wounded.The explosion happened at a chlorine tank of Yanguoxia Chlorinated Paraffin Plant, which locates in Yongjing, western China's Gansu province. The plant is one kilometer away from the Yellow River. Luckily the accident has not brought any pollution to the second largest river of China.
