Final Review on PVC Antidumping Case    

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced on September 29th to conduct a final review investigation on the antidumping case of PVC (HS code: 39041090 for 2008, 39041000 during 2002 - 2007) imported from the United States, Korea, Japan, Russia and Taiwan province from September 29th, 2008. The dumping investigation is from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 while the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2003 to June 30, 2006.
   China has imposed the antidumping duty on imports of PVC originated from the above mentioned countries and region since September 29th, 2003 for five years. (CCR2003 No. 30)
   On June 30th, 2008, MOC received an application report from domestic PVC producers to review the case and succeed the existing antidumping duty. The involved domestic PVA producers include Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Yibin Tianyuan Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Zhongtai Chemical Co., Ltd., Sichuan Jinlu Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Chlor-alkali Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Juhua Co., Ltd., Haohua Yuhang Chemical Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Botian Chemical Co., Ltd.
