China and Japan Strengthen Cooperation in Energy and Environmental Protection

The Development and Research Center of China's State Council held on October 26th a summit on Sino-Japan Energy Conservation & Environmental Protection Policy, aiming to promote the mutual benefit and cooperation in the aspects concerned. Hitachi hosted the summit.
Hitachi announced in December 2007 the sustainability target - reducing 100 million tons of carbon dioxide emission by 2025 through its products. The Japanese group has helped a chemical branch of Yuntianhua Group to save energy in production.
