Shenma and Fuming Inked for Producing Chloromethane      

Shenma Group Co., Ltd. will form a chloromethane joint venture plant partnering with Fuming (Hong Kong) Company Limited.
   An agreement was signed between the Chlor-alkali Company of Shenma Group and Fuming (Hong Kong) Company Ltd. on August 13th.  
   Under the agreement, both sides plan to totally invest RMB202 million in building a 70/30 joint venture plant between Fuming (Hong Kong) and the Chlor-alkali Company of Shenma Group to manufacture 120 thousand tons of chloromethane family per year.
   The jv plant will source liquid chlorine from the Chlor-alkali Company of Shenma Group for the production of chloromethane family which is applied in refrigerant, medicine, organic regents etc. And all by products hydrogen chloride and hydrogen gas produced in the jv are reused for the manufacture of PVC and benzene in the Chlor-alkali Company and the Nylon Chemical Company of Shenma Group.
