Yunwei's Issuing New Shares Approved    

Following the approval by China Securities Regulatory Commission, Yunnan Yunwei Company Ltd. (Yunwei, SH: 600725) will issue new domestic RMB shares. The company said on September 2nd.
   The proceeds raised will be used in a new 25 thousand t/a BDO (1,4-butanediol) project, a new 200 thousand t/a acetic acid project and carbon monoxide preparation and furnace innovation.
   These new projects will extend Yunwei's acetylene chemical products portfolio based on coal and advance its profit ability. (CCR2007 No. 32)
