Re-evaluation on SBR Case     

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced on September 8th China launches a final review investigation on the antidumping case of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR, HS code: 40021911, 40021912 and 40021919) originated from Russia, Japan and Korea, effective September 9th, 2008. The dumping investigation period is from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008 while the injury investigation period is from January 1st, 2003 to June 30th, 2006.
    China has imposed antidumping duty on imports of SBR originated from the above mentioned countries since September 9th, 2003 for five years. (CCR2003 No. 12)
    On June 10th, 2008 MOC received an application report from the domestic SBR producers for investigating the case again and remaining to impose antidumping duty. The involved domestic SBR producers include Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Shen Hua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd.
