USA Makes Final Ruling on Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide     

On August 11th, 2008 the Department of Commerce of the United States announced that it has made a final ruling on electrolytic manganese dioxide (HS code: 28201000) originated from China and Australia. An antidumping tariff of 149.92% is imposed on electrolytic manganese dioxide originated from China. Chinese companies include Guizhou Redstar Developing Import and Export Co., Ltd. and Redstar Development Dalong Manganese Industrial Co., Ltd. The antidumping tariff to electrolytic manganese dioxide originated from Australia is 83.66%.
   On September 12th, 2007 the United States announced to launch a dumping investigation into electrolytic manganese dioxide originated from China and Australia. (CCR2007 No. 29)
