PetroChina to Issue Domestic Corporate Bonds for 2nd West-East Gas Pipeline      

PetroChina Company Limited (SH: 601857, HK: 0857) announced on July 31st its Board of Directors has agreed to issue up to RMB60 billion domestic corporate bonds within two years for the Second West-East Gas Pipeline and the working capital.
   The move is subject to approval by the regulating authorities.
   PetroChina Company Ltd. started construction of the second west-east natural gas transmission pipeline this February, which will connect with the Central Asia Gas Pipeline, with a transmission capacity of 30 billion cubic meters per year for 30 years.  (CCR2008 No. 7)
