Value Added Tax for Dimethyl Ether Imposed at 13%    

According to the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, China imposes at 13% of value added tax on dimethyl ether from July 1st, 2008, in order to promote application dissemination of dimethyl ether, 4.0 percentage points lower than before.
   It shows that the Chinese government will strengthen supports to energy alternative dimethyl ether to cope with the coming of the high oil price.
