India Launches Antidumping Sunset Reevaluation Investigation into Potassium Carbonate    

On May 21st, 2008, in response to an application submitted by Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd. Vadodra, India launched an antidumping sunset reevaluation investigation into potassium carbonate (HS code: 28364000) originated from China. The duration of the dumping investigation is from January 1st to December 31st, 2007.
   On December 19th, 2002 India launched a dumping investigation into potassium carbonate originated from EU, China, Korea and Taiwan province. On January 16th, 2004 India made an affirmative final ruling on the case.
