CNPC Boosts Cooperation with Jiangsu and Jilin    

In mid-March, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) signed framework agreements with Jilin Provincial Government and Jiangsu Provincial Government respectively to strengthen their cooperation. CNPC and both local governments will boost their cooperation in oil/gas exploration and production, refinery, oil/gas pipeline and sales network, urban gas supply, gas storage and LNG projects as well as bio-energy fields.
   By the way, Jiangsu Provincial Government signed an agreement with Sinopec Corp., the latter plans to thirdly expand Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd.'s ethylene facility located in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province. Meanwhile, Sinopec will support a refining complex in Lianyungang, the north of Jiangsu province planned by Jiangsu Provincial Government.
