India Preliminary Ruling on Diclofenac Sodium     

On January 28th, 2008 India made a preliminary antidumping ruling on diclofenac sodium originated from or imported from China. A temporary antidumping tax of 100 Rupees per kilogram will be imposed on diclofenac sodium produced and exported by Tangyin Yongqi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The temporary antidumping tax for diclofenac sodium exported by other Chinese enterprises is 135 Rupees per kilogram.
   On June 4th, 2007 India launched a dumping investigation into the said product from China.
