Jiaxing to Get Subsidy for Controlling Water Pollution    

The Ministry of Finance has recently issued a notice, stating that Jiaxing of Zhejiang province will get a specific subsidy of RMB116 million for controlling water pollution in Taihu Lake. Projects that get the subsidy include 30 sewage treatment projects, 5 medium and small livestock/poultry refuse treatment and utilization projects, 4 domestic garbage incineration projects and 1 water plant/water source wetland ecological control project.
   By the end of this year 24 sewage treatment and sewage pipeline network projects will be constructed in 41 towns of Jiaxing. The completion and functioning of these projects will greatly promote the energy conservation and emission reduction in the city.
