Xinjiang Helon Starts Differential Viscose Staple Fiber Project   

Construction on the 50 000 t/a differential viscose staple fiber production line in Xinjiang Helon Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. (Xinjiang Helon) was recently started. It will be completed and start production at the end of 2008. The project is located in Alar 2# Industrial Zone, Xinjiang and has a total investment of over RMB440 million.
   Xinjiang Helon is jointly established by Shandong Helon Co., Ltd. (SZ: 000677) and Xinnong Development Co., Ltd. (SH: 600359). It is mainly engaged in the production of viscose filament fiber, viscose staple fiber, canvas and unwoven fabrics. It has a capacity of 120 000 t/a viscose staple fiber and 8 000 t/a viscose filament fiber.
