Yingchuang: Reclaimed Bottle-Grade Polyester Chip Project

The reclaimed bottle-grade polyester chip project funded by
Yingchuang Reclaimed Resources Co., Ltd. with a total investment
of RMB256 million has recently started production in Beijing
Tianzhu Airport Industry Zone. It is the only reclaimed
bottle-grade polyester chip production line in Asia. After the
start of the normal production, the production line can achieve
a sales revenue of over RMB500 million a year. 60 000 tons of
scrap polyester bottles can be recycled for treatment a year,
accounting for around one-third of scrap polyester bottles in
Beijing.
   Tests made by quality inspection departments appointed by the
state prove that all indexes of the reclaimed bottle-grade
polyester chip have reached or surpassed the national standard
for bottle-grade polyester chips. The product contains no
impurities and has good physical viscosity and very low
formaldehyde content. The quality of the product is totally
identical to original bottle-grade polyester. It can fully
replace original materials in the use of packaging material for
food and medicines. The price is however 20% lower than original
bottle-grade polyester.
