Jinzhou Petrochemical: Gasoline Mercapfining Unit

The 1.2 million t/a gasoline mercapfining renovation unit in
CNPC Jinzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. recently conducted
successful wet commissioning and produced qualified gasoline in
Jinzhou, Liaoning province.
   The gasoline mercapfining unit is an important unit for
gasoline refining in the company. In 2006 the company decided
to relocate the 1.0 million t/a gasoline mercapfining unit and
increase its capacity to 1.2 million t/a. Civil work of the
project was started at the end of September 2006. Equipment and
pipeline installation was completed in mid-June 2007.
Intermediate handing-over was conducted on June 15th, 2007.
