PP Resin with Ultrahigh Melt Index

Gansu Langang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has successfully produced
a PP (polypropylene) resin with ultrahigh melt index in its 110
000 t/a PP unit. All the indexes of the product conform to the
technical standard.
   In the production of PP resin with high melt index in China,
chemical degrading agents have to be added to increase the melt
index of PP. Products easily have yellowing and brittleness.
Properties of different lots of raw materials can not be
guaranteed either. To remove these defects, the company has
developed a PP resin with a melt index of over 35g/10m. As the
new product has good fluidity, the defects of conventional PP
are removed. It can be used in various sectors of PP through
injection or legging.
