Jinma and Kumho Launches Latex Project

Recently, Shandong Jinma Chemical Group and Kumho Group of Korea
started construction on Kumho Jinma (Rizhao) Co., Ltd. in
Donggang District, Rizhao, Shandong province. Kumho Jinma
(Rizhao) Co., Ltd. will launch a 150 000 t/a SBR latex project
with a registered capital of US$13.4 million, in which the two
parts both hold 50% share. With a total investment of US$40
million, Kumho Jinma (Rizhao) Co., Ltd. will invest first-phase
US$33.5 million to mainly produce styrene-butadiene latex and
its downstream products, used in papermaking, rubber,
construction sectors, etc. After completion, the first phase
will help the Kumho Jinma (Rizhao) Co., Ltd. increase its sales
revenue by RMB1 billion.
   Kumho Group of Korea, one of the top ten companies in Korea,
is mainly engaged in the chemical, synthetic rubber, resins,
pharmaceutical businesses.
