ANGUS PC Amino Alcohols Comply with China Cosmetics Directive

A kind of PC range of globally-compliant amino alcohols from
ANGUS Chemical Company ("ANGUS") meets new product safety
requirements set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the People's
Republic of China in its Hygienic Standards for Cosmetics (2007
version), effective July 1st, 2007. The ULTRA PC products do not
require costly formulation changes for personal care and
cosmetics formulators and are readily available so customers in
China can be fully prepared upon implementation of the new
restrictions.
Introduced in Europe in 2004 and in Asia this year to help
customers comply with the standards of the European Cosmetics
Directive 76/768/EEC, the ULTRA PC portfolio is also compliant
with the restrictions set forth by the newly introduced Hygienic
Standards for Cosmetics (2007 version) in mainland China as well
as the upcoming ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, effective January 2008.
The portfolio includes buffers and neutralizing amines for use
in a wide range of personal care and cosmetics products. Both
products provide performance advantages and benefits as
neutralizing agents, offering excellent color stability and
primary amine functionality.
