Yihua Group Kicks off 50 000 T/A Pentaerythritol Project

Hubei Yihua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (Yihua Group) recently
started construction on the 50 000 t/a high-purity
pentaerythritol project in Guizhou province. The project has a
total investment of RMB800 million. The pentaerythritol
capacity in Yihua Group today exceeds 80 000 t/a. After
completion of the 50 000 t/a project, the total pentaerythritol
capacity in the company will reach 130 000 t/a.
   In recent years, Yihua Group takes advantages of its 3 million
t/a synthetic ammonia and 200 000 t/a caustic soda and cooperates
with SAMYANG of Korea to develop 92%, 95% and 98% high-purity
pentaerythritol with the special and patent technologies.  
   As a major organic chemical, pentaerythritol is mainly used
in the production of alkyd resins and has extensive application
in polyurethane, lubricating oil, surfactant, coatings,
pharmaceuticals sectors, etc.
