1.5 Million T/A Hydrocracking Unit in ZRCC Starts Operation

The 1.5 million t/a hydrocracking unit designed and constructed
with the hydrocracking technology of Fushun Research Institute
of Petroleum and Petrochemicals has recently started operation
in Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company Ltd. (ZRCC)
located in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. The full-load operation
of the unit shows that the product quality is fully qualified.
   The unit adopts the single-section cascade one-pass process
flow. FF-36/FC-24 catalyst developed by Fushun Research
Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals is used. Major object
products include hydrocracking heavy naphtha and hydrocracking
tail oil.
   With the completion of the unit, the crude oil comprehensive
processing capacity in the company has reached 20 million t/a.
In terms of product portfolio, not only the naphtha source in
the company has been expanded, the raw material availability for
the downstream ethylene chemical project is also guaranteed.
